Our website concerns all of the service projects that our PCHS FBLA chapter is involved within, as well as some on the national level. This website is linked to the Chamber of Commerce and is made to give businesses around our area the opportunity to become involved in their local FBLA and also to help out those in need.
To begin the website process, we began our building by first deciding who our target audience would be, and what would most appeal to them. Next, we started discussing, as a team, the different aspects needed on this website; both those that were required and what was added for the site to be fully developed. We then started creating the way in which all pages would be laid out and the number of pages that would be developed. We started out by deciding what content would go together on which page. All content was then found. The content was shared between team members using Google Documents. Color scheme was chosen based on our target audience and what would most appeal to them. We moved on to selecting the images needed from iClipArt. Next, images were discovered and all copyright information needed was documented.
To begin the building process, a design was hand drawn as blueprints and any changes needed were made. Graphics were designed as well at this point in the development stage in Adobe Photoshop CS4. Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 was used to hand code this website. The website was created and edited to the blueprint specifications. All copyrights and information needed are included in this site.
To end the building process, the website was put online. The process was then complete.
Chandler Moats held the role of web designer and developer. Derek Roberts was the visual art designer. He created the banners for each page. Montana Bazzell aided both Chandler and Derek in overall production of the site. She offered artistic advice and encouragement.
